Two Film Screenings for The Vanishing Oath
The Vanishing Oath is a documentary directed by and starring Ryan Flesher, MD, who explores his own burnout and frustration in the current healthcare system, as well as how that translates into the patient-physician experience. This revealing insider’s view is a must-see for anyone who interacts with the healthcare industry: patients, physicans, families of physicians, politicians, medical students, and residents, for example.
This film is a timely starting point for open dialogue about some of the causes of physician burnout and the physician shortage. It also has the potential to improve the patient-physician relationship by pointing out some of the obstacles physicians face in providing ideal care.
There are two opportunities to see the film and have a Q&A with the director:
Friday, April 22, 2011. 6-9pm. Pan Pacific Hotel in Seattle, WA. Reception + film screening + Q&A with the director. Buy Tickets
Sunday, April 24, 2011. 2-4:30 pm. Cinebarre, Mountlake Terrace, WA. Film screening + Q&A with the director. Buy tickets
PLEASE REMEMBER to make sure you choose the exact date you wish to attend, as there are two showings for this film.
